The 5 Best Things About WordCamp Boston

wcbos2010The ContentRobot team really enjoyed WordCamp Boston this past Saturday. Here’s what we liked best:

  1. Meeting Other Passionate WordPress Developers: The RocketGenius team, developers of the awesome Gravity Forms plugin, are a smart, fun bunch. We look forward to working with them more.
  2. Shaking Hands With One of Our Favorite Clients: Nine Lives Media’s Amy Katz took part in a session called “WordPress Powers My Startup” and she rocked it. We finally got to meet her for the first time ever and it was very cool.
  3. Cool Giveaways: The schwag was really nice, but the most inspired was Rackspace Cloud‘s blue cotton candy.
  4. WPCares: Brian Gardner of StudioPress developed this WordPress-related charity. It made it extremely simple for Boston WordCampers to donate (and several companies to match) to the International Red Cross Haiti Fund.
  5. Legal Seafoods Chowder: Lunch featured some yummy chowdah – nuff said.

Onto the next WordCamp – wonder which one we’ll go to next …

Do you have a full sized version of that image?

I’m the guy that moderated that Startup panel and haven’t been able to find any good photos of the panel!

Had a great time in Boston and enjoyed meeting you guys! Definitely keep in touch.
